Chord HDMI 1.4 SuperShield High Speed with Ethernet - is Chord's serious entry into the affordable HDMI market. In the past Chord have done exceptionally well in the premium HDMI market and now they have a strong product to suit buyers with under £50 to spend. A vast number of home cinema owners are looking for an HDMI cable that will deliver the potential of their HD system without having to spend a lot of money. The Chord HDMI Supershield is ideally suited to this requirement.
Chord have now improved the award winning SuperShield HDMI cable. The new cable is certified high speed and now features dedicated ethernet and audio return wiring.
Alongside the ethernet and audio return wiring, we have also improved the internal wiring - In place of the oxygen free copper conductors used in the original SuperShield, are heavier 26 AWG conductors, silver-plated to improve signal transfer. Insulation is gas foamed polyethylene and a dual layer high frequency effective shield protects the signal cables.
Chord have fitted an improved HDMI plug. The Chord SuperShield is now fitted with a die-cast moulded plug that has been engineered for a more secure connection.
The Chord SuperShield High Speed HDMI with Ethernet is available in 1, 2 and 3 metre lengths..
